I have a 90 astro van with a 4.3L TBI HP V6 engine in it and it needs a new oil pan gasket. the most time consuming part is unscrewing the 20 or so screws out and then screwing them back in. Use a little silicone around the gasket for a little added insurance. How handy are you?? Without a hoist and the proper tools this could be a job you should farm out to a repair shop......it is not a very difficult job but tedious.....also expect to get very dirty from doing this job yourself......also I recommend replacing the gasket with a felpro gasket...the best in the business...will never leak again.How long does it take to change and oil pan gasket?
